Discs with Powder Paint for your projects

We've just posted a few new items to our shop that will add lots of color to your jewelry projects. 1 inch and 7/8 inch discs with powder coat on both sides. These are made with Aluminum so they are very light to wear making them perfect to add lots of color to a piece without making the piece to heavy.

Here are sample earrings that Amy made with the 7/8 inch discs and rectangles and her wonderful beaded beads.

Check our shop often as we'll be adding more colors and shapes soon!!

  1. Hi Nancy, thank you for your comment on our Toaster Oven Art blog. You'd asked about the difference between traditional enameling and powder coating and the main difference is with enameling you need a kiln that can cost up to a $1,000 whereas with powder coat you use a toaster oven that can be picked up at a yard sale for $10. Traditional enameling uses glass to coat the objects and a kiln is needed to heat the piece to 1200 degrees for the glass to melt. Whereas the powder coat is a plastic resin that can be cured at 340 to 400 degrees. Beyond that we do use many of the tools that enamelers use like sifters and glues.

Here's a link to the beginning page of our blog and at the bottom is a link to newer post that will take you chronological through our post.
